Hi Everyone,
Have you guys heard of the Aga Khan Museum yet? I went here with a friend couple of weeks ago for her birthday. I’ve been wanting to come here for awhile now since they opened. The Aga Khan Museum is a museum of Islamic art, Iranian art and Muslim culture in Toronto, Canada. The museum is an initiative of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, an agency of the Aga Khan Development
There is a charge for parking. Max day is $10 dollars. If you have a student card you can get in for $15 dollars instead of $20 dollars! Woot! saved $5.
We went on a pretty windy day so I was really looking forward to their cafe. I think I must had ordered everything they had in the cafe. I really enjoyed their samosas it was super spicy! If you like spicy then you should enjoy their samosas. Here’s the latte I ordered, ohhhhh this hit the spot!
Best samosas ever!
I even devoured the fruits and salad
Tip: Make sure you finish your drinking before entering the gallery!
They have a pretty neat structure! I really liked the landscape. While we were there for the short period of time, we saw 3 brides getting their picture taken here! I don’t blame them! It’s such a pretty place. Too bad the weather wasn’t corporating. It was super super windy if you can’t tell by my hair and my skirt flying!
Here are some of artworks I thought that was very unique. I love the detailing of each and every art work.
They had a gift shop and of course I have to buy something!! Spoken like a true shopaholic.
If you follow me on instagram, you’ve seen this gorgeous earrings I bought!
The Aga Khan Museum is a truly unique and inspiring experience for art lovers! We spent roughly 4 hours in the museum. I didn’t think we would spend that long in there!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far!
