Obsessing with Desserts? Well. I got you

Hello Everyone,

I’ve been obsessing with deserts and sweets lately. OMG I just can’t have enough! Here are some of the places I’ve been to so far and seriously. They are pretty good.

This post will cover:

  1. Mabu Station
  2. Dun Well Donuts
  3. 10below Ice cream
  4. Love Gelato
  5. Dolce21 Dessert House
  6. Lucullus Bakery

???? Mabu Station (5457 Yonge Street, North York)

This place seems oddly familiar like the Lohan Cafe. I was obsessed with that cafe for a while. Have you guys been to that cafe? It’s located in First Markham Place… although shortly after they opened I feel that they went downhill and most of their food I felt they were just “heated” back up. bleh.

This place has marshmallows!!! Yes Marshmallow! I’m going to get it because I LOVE Marshmallows!

Below, features their famous crepes.

DUN-WEll- DONUTS (222 Montrose Avenue, NYC)

Have you guys been to the hottest donut place yet? Dun-Well Doughnuts started as a food craving when Christopher Hollowell (the “Well” in Dun-Well) called up his buddy Dan Dunbar (The “Dun” in Dun-Well) after having watched a Simpson’s anniversary episode that featured Homer’s favorite round confections rather prominently. Their website here

My apologies as I have DEVOURED the other two donuts then I remembered to take a photo. So yes. This is good.

10below Ice Cream

10Below Ice Cream is New York’s first establishment serving Thai-inspired ice cream rolls. This concept was created on the streets of Thailand, serving fresh, made-to-order ice cream. Inspired by this ice cream art and by the way bartenders artfully craft cocktails made to order, 10Below blends the two approaches to create an experience for ice cream aficionados with an eclectic palette. They roll each individual ice cream order with the freshest ingredients right in front of your eyes, meaning no preservatives or stabilizers are added. It’s ice cream in its rawest form — fresh off the plate. Which means….. IT TAKES HELLLLAAA LONG. ONE HOUR WAIT.

Ok, so was it wroth it? NOPE, NOPE, and NO. I mean – yes it’s fun, and I do think everyone should experience at least once in their life. It wasn’t all that great to be honest….

They do have a lot of favors ranging from Thai Coffee, chocolate to strawberry favor.

And the final product. You get to choose any toppings and I got Marshmallow… yes I got marshmallow.. seeing a theme here?

LOVE GELATO (75 Main St N, Markham)

Established in 2013, Love Gelato Café brings a new spark to City of Markham with our authentic Italian gelato. You can visit their website here.

It’s a nice little place and I’m not sure if I’m a fan of LOVE GELATO anymore. For the price, I honestly think it’s way too expensive.

I mean yes, they are super cute and they do have all kinds of different flavors, but not sure if I would come here. I got the “regular” and this was $5 after taxes. I finished it off in about 2 bites….. not sure if that was worth it.

Dolce 21 Dessert House (4300 Steeles Avenue E, Unit B35A)

If you’ve been on Instagram, this place has all the rave about this cute little dessert shop (I’m sure one of their employees has learned how to schedule instagram posts because they’re forever posting stunning pictures of their deserts, it makes me want them so bad). It’s a takeout shop in Pacific Mall. They have hot & cold teas, lattes, milkshakes, detox drinks and their infamous premium soft serve cups. There are even beautifully designed props you can take pictures with! I’m pretty sure they set up this place with instagramers and bloggers in mind for beautiful photos! They should consider thinking about getting free ig followers to make sure that more people can get to visit this beautiful place.

How cute are these koala bears?!

They didn’t have marshmallows, but they did have cotton candies!! This thing is huge and this is why it makes a pretty worthy Instagram photo! No doubt some of their employees engage with the stores’ customers through Instagram using direct messaging or third party messaging applications such as igdm others.

LUCULLUS BAKERY (7750 Kennedy Road, Unit 2-2a, MARKHAM)

And finally, this is my new place to be at. If you are Asian, then your mom or dad would have taken you here ever since you were young, so I’m used to old fashion chairs and run down signs and decor. But man, when this opened up near the Markham VIP Theatre… I was sooooo shocked how MODERN and inviting it looks! In my mind – Chinese bakery would never ever look like this.

They have the old fashion rustic thing going on.

Like every other Asian. I love egg tarts.

They even have their own coffee brewing machines

Hopefully, this post has made your mouth water because I am kicking myself for writing this post during dinner time!!!

Thanks so much for reading!
