Friday! Today I want to share with you about my Friday Fave: Tieks by Gavrieli.
I’ve had my Tieks for over 2 years now. So it’s safe to say that they are well tested. I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of flats for such a long time. I seriously cannot say one negative thing about these flats… ok maybe the price can be a tadddd bit lower. But seriously, it’s worth the money. A little background: I walk roughly 40 mins a day. I drag my feet across the floor, I run in them, rain, dirt, wind – you name it. These Tieks has been through it all.
They are my essentials when I travel – ANYWHERE. They’ve been to Greece, Athens, Hong Kong, Japan, Vegas, Hawaii, etc,.
And… they are still in perfect condition with VERY few signs of wear after 2 + years. They also go with everything I own in my closet.
Yes! This is the actual picture after 2 years! They still look pretty new don’t they??
They have the padding on the bottom that gives you extra support. And seriously, after two + years of wearing them – I really do not see much wear on them. These are so well – made I can’t even believe it. I’ve owned a lot of flats before and I pretty much have to replace them after 6 months. For example: Michael Kors flats – Sure they look really nice, and I was in love with them at one point, but then I realised I have to replace them every 6 months because I literally put a hole through the shoe!! (that’s how much I walk!!!) And they are not exactly cheap either – Regular price they go for $130. I usually get mine on sale when they are $60 bucks. I’ve gone through 4 pairs of MK flats already and that’s about $240. I might as well invest in a good quality flats and they literally will last my a life time. Almost 3 years and counting!
My next colour I’m going to invest? Grey or maybe red? I haven’t quite decided yet. What color do you have?
Looks comfy and pretty at the same time. I like wearing flats on my way to work and going up and down the stairs as an exercise. You’re right, comfy and durable flats are hard to come by. Happy to see your blog, I’ve followed you now Instagram.

Ahh, that’s what I was looking for: the wear factor. I have multiple sets of black flats that have been replaced over and over because they I wear through them so quickly–they are also under $30/pair. I’d like to commit, but I couldn’t find anything about the longer-term wear on these. I appreciate your review, it will push me into the Tieks fanclub!
Glad this post helped you! You will love your tieks! Like all shoes, they do need to be worn in maybe 1 – 2 times of wear but seriously after that – they are my go to shoes for anytime I know there will be a lot of walking! Let me know if you do decide in a pair! Love to know what color you choose!
The flats are perfect for everyday wear! I have been on the hunt for a pair of cute and comfy pair of flats that I can wear on my commute to work and this may just be the best option 🙂
