It’s Friday! I feel like the week is just flying by. I’ve been traveling quite a lot for the past 3 weeks! I am exhausted from all the travelling! I am currently typing this post from my hotel room with my hot green tea. *smootthingg*
For those who know me will know that I am a huge designer bag fan. I love reading up on how bags are made, what material they use and what makes them so unique. Saying this though, not everyone is going to want a designer bag as much as I do. The majority of people may be happy with bags that you can find through sites like https://www.parkerclay.com/, as having a bag is pretty much essential. Of course the list below is very subjective, there’s really no you “must” have this bag in your lifetime. In fact, I know many people are not into the designer bags, but for me I find these bags so sexy! I love shopping around for womens bags and hope you fellow readers can appreciate how great it is. . . I love the material and I love how they fit on my arm or my shoulder. So, here’s my top 5 designer bags every woman should have:
1. Chanel 2.55 Flap Bag
This is pretty much given. Chanel 2.55 is the queen of designer handbags. I consider this bag as an investment piece, since the price of this 2.55 bags goes up every year. This bag is so breath-taking, for those who appreciate bags will understand what I’m talking about. It’s such a classic piece! We’re all well acquainted with the image of quilted leather, the interlocking C’s, and the chain link straps. When you think of designer handbags, I’ll bet that the image of the Chanel 2.55 would be one of the first to come to mind. Very iconic.
2. Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag
I am biased and I have an undying love for Louis Vuitton, so it’s no surprise that LV would be on my top 5 list. Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag with it’s notorious monogram canvas and classic silhoette has been in style for years and years now, so once you get it, you can be sure it will look fashionable and stylish as long as you have it. I currently own the LV Speedy 30 and I love it! It’s not too small and it’s not big. I’m only 5″2 so this size fits me really well. Also, this bag goes with EVERYTHING! From my pink fluffy dress to my chic work outfits to my jeans and t-shirt days. Oh, how much I love this bag! The Louis Vuitton brand is very desirable so, of course, that means it’s also expensive to boot. People looking for a replica louis vuitton bag may prefer this option as it is practically indistinguishable from the genuine article yet comes in at a more affordable price point.
3. Gucci Jackie Bag
I’m a big fan of the soft and unstructured bags. I own the Gucci Hobo bag and I love how it sits on my shoulder and it’s soft and light! This Gucci Jackie Bag is very similar except it comes with more features! This fabulous handbag was inspired by the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Gucci says that this handbag is a testament to the enduring allure of graceful sophistication. This handmade bag comes in many variations and there is also a new Jackie line that has slight changes from the original. This bag comes with a shoulder strap, it’s becoming more popular now since it’s now more functional. The most expensive Jackie Bag was sold for $20,400!
4. Alexander McQueen Skull Clutch
Not only do I love their scarf, I also developed an appreciation for their bags too. I love skulls, and Alexander McQueen delivers them in such a sophisticated way. This “it” clutch is gothic yet elegant and totally luxurious. There are so many designs out there, you can’t just settle for one. Not only were women crazy over the chic design, the decorative clutch clasp and knuckle dusters made this purse even more desirable and inspired numerous DIY projects. There are also a lot of Alexander McQueen “inspires” too if you don’t want splurge on such an expensive purse. They are not cheap for such a small clutch!
5, Hermès Kelly Bag
Ok, I have to put this on my list. Although I don’t see myself getting this bag ever because of the insane price, but it’s a very classic piece and I actually do love the bag if it wasn’t for the insane high price. The Hermès Kelly Bag is the ultimate stays symbol. First introduced in 1892 as a saddle bag, the iconic accessory evolved and was ultimately named for princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, when it was given to her in 1954. It has been making women feel like princesses ever since. Handmade, these bags take between 18-25 hours to create. It is Hermès’ best selling bag of all time. The most expensive Kelly Bag ever sold was auctioned for $125,000!!! It was a one of a kind known as the Geranium Porosus.
Of course, I’m missing some other very iconic bags on this list, such as the Dior Lady Bag, Para Saffiano Bag and so on, maybe I’ll add to this list on my next post!
Let me know what’s your top 5 designer bags you’ve been eyeing on?! I personally been doing a lot of research on the Gucci Jackie Bag! That may be my birthday present for myself next year.
Thanks so much for reading!
