As promised, I want to share my other beauty products I use daily!
1. Yves Saint Laurent Anti-Cernes Concealer – NO. 2.
A concealer stick with a beveled tip for easy application. A supple, caring texture for the delicate skin around the eyes, plus light-diffusing pigments that fade away imperfections.
Texture: Smooth, Creamy
Review: I use to quite often. I always break out in pimples before my period! It’s super annoying! I’m used to rushing out the house with a touch of the YSL cover up stick – and off I go. You can also use it under your eyes too, I don’t use this under my eyes anymore because I switched to Touche Eclat (review from my last post). I like to use the Touche Eclat for my eyes better.
2. Rouge Pur Couture Vernis A Leves Glossy Stain & Rouge Pur Couture
Review: As you can tell, I really love YSL. Maybe it’s the packaging, but I do really love their products. I love the Rouge Pur Couture Vernis A Leves Glossy Stain as it gives it a very glossy finish. The only downside to this stain is that it doesn’t last the whole day. I find myself reapplying every 1-2 hours. As for the Rouge Pur Couture – this lasts much longer for me, it gives a satin finish which I love for more a subtle look (good for the office!)
3. Modster, YSL Shocking Eyeliner, Lancome Eyeliner, Kat Von D Eyeliner, Eye pencil L’oreal, Japanese Kiss Eyeliner, Stila Eyeliner
Ratings: Modster (2/5), YSL Shocking Eyeliner (3.5/5), Lancome Eyeliner (4/5), Kat Von D Eyeliner (2/5), Eye pencil L’oreal (3/5), Japanese Kiss Eyeliner (3/5), Stila Eyeliner (5/5)
Modster (2/5) – when I bought this the sales person told me it will give a very rich smoky eye look. Maybe I’m not putting it right, I literally look like panda after. Also it runs on me.
YSL Shocking Eyeliner (3.5/5) – as much as I want to love this. It just doesn’t give a rich look of liquid eyeliner on me, also it doesn’t last the whole day
Lancome Eyeliner (4/5) – I’ve been using this for a long time before I switched to the Stila Eyeliner (review from previous post). It last the whole day and it’s the right amount of thickness I want. The tip is also pointy which gives it a easy application
Kat Von D Eyeliner (2/5) – just no. It’s suppose to act like a “tattoo” the tip is so pointy, it felt like I was scratching my eye lid off when I was trying to put it on. Also the black faded out
Eye pencil L’oreal (3/5) – If you are use to the liquid eyeliner, this is an alternative, I also find this fades on me.
Japanese Kiss Eyeliner (3/5) – my friend from Hong Kong recommended this brand to me. As much as I want to love it, I just don’t. It runs on me… and it doesn’t last the whole day either
Stila Eyeliner (5/5) – Review from previous post.
4. Urban Decay NAKED 2
Review: I love this! The colors are shimmery and these are the colors that I would use everyday. You can really do a lot with the colors. From highlighting to shadows. It’s very versatile, also it goes with many skin tones too! Buy it here.
5. Butter London Nail Polish
Review: I don’t often wear nail polish – I go through phases 🙂 But as you can tell – I love pink and I love sparkles! Hence, it’s only natural that I keep my nails the same color. They last pretty long – roughly a week before they start to chip (that’s with top coat too). Buy it here
That’s a wrap for this week Friday Faves! Let me know if you have used any of these products and let me know if you feel differently than I do!
Thanks so much for reading,
